I've done this using the starter motor on a Dolomite 1500. You need a
tommy bar on the appropriate socket, jam the bar into the chassis so there is no
play when you try turning the engine on the starter. Mine came off so
easily, I was expecting to need a few attempts, but it came free on the
first turn of the key. Probably best to disconnect the LT lead before trying
this.
