Preferably a tow bar has to be attached to the rear cross member behind the diff where the chassis is very strong.
This attachment has to be done in a manner which allow horizontal(pulling) and vertical upwards load.
Also, The tow bar must have bolted attachments to both outriggers in a manner which allow only vertical(carrying) downwards load.
Now when towing there will be download load on the hook and the two outrigger attachments. There will be upwards load and tension on the cross member attachment.

It's not a good idea towing too heavy trailers. The spring is not stable, and the car starts swinging at the rear.
